What Is Bullying?

· What is bullying?
Bullying is when a person or a group of people use their ‘power’ to hurt someone else. It is a form of abuse and can be physical, mental or emotional bullying. There can be several forms of bullying including verbal abuse, physical abuse, exclusion, peer pressure, threatening, backstabbing, stealing and frightening people.

Bullying is a behavioural issue and should be treated seriously. Bullying is also a form of abuse.

Bullying can be when someone is hurt from within or from the outside. Bullying is never accidental and is usually done on purpose. For example when someone accidentally hurts you while playing a game, it would not be classified as bullying, but whenever you play a game and a person targets you to hurt you on a regular basis, then it is classified as bullying.
